A friend of mine challenged me several years ago to write short stories from a single word. I fell in love with the idea.

I later suggested the same premise to another group of writers. Authors can choose from a list of words, write approximately 300–500 words, and tell a complete story.

What started out as a group of four has now grown, and we will soon be publishing our seventh Flash Fiction Anthology.

Every two months, I post a new list of words for the authors to choose from, either here on the website or in our Facebook group. Authors can write a story on as many words as they wish, which are then collected, collated, and formatted with cute little images above each story and published on Amazon.

The Flash Fiction Anthology Challenge has allowed new and established authors to see their names in print.
